Retire Our Mortgage
Campaign Overview

Background

Highview Christian Fellowship formerly known as Highview Park Christian Assembly moved from Arlington, Virginia to new church facilities in May 2005. Although the church owned the property in Arlington, Virginia, in order to accommodate our growing ministry, we asked God for more space to continue to do ministry in a more excellent way and He led us to our present home in Fairfax, Virginia.

Since settling in our new facility, our first and foremost concern is to retire our $1.5 million mortgage in 5 years. Your act of giving is one of the most important ways you can participate in this worthwhile project and help retire this debt. In the coming months you will also have opportunities to participate in specific fund-raising activities spearheaded by some of the ministries.

How You Can Participate

Pledge
Members who desire to contribute and be a financial blessing, should print and fill out the pledge commitment form. Once you have made a pledge to the Retire Our Mortgage Campaign, you can pay on your pledge in whatever manner is convenient for you based upon the suggested intervals: weekly, biweekly, monthly, annually or in one lump sum. Also, for your convenience we suggest that you print out our convenient bank authorization statement. An amount designated by you will be automatically deducted from your savings or checking account until your pledge is paid in full. Please be assured our Finance Ministry will handle your pledge commitment form and bank authorization statement confidentially.

Estate Planning
To speak privately about estate planning or to make a memorial donation on behalf of a loved one, please call (703) 323-6367 to make an appointment with Bishop Phillip Thomas, Senior Pastor.

Individuals who may not be members but desire to support this effort, are also welcomed to make pledges. Your gift will be recorded and tracked in the same manner as a member. Upon your request, the Finance Ministry will provide you with periodic reports on your payment progress. At the end of each year, you will receive a written acknowledgement of the amount received that can be used when you file your taxes with the Internal Revenue Service. When your pledge is paid in full you will receive a thank you letter.

Checks should be made payable to: Highview Christian Fellowship, 4100 Hunt Road, Fairfax, Virginia 22032. Please fax or mail the pledge of commitment form and bank authorization statement to the attention of the “Retire Our Mortgage Campaign.” Do not forget to include your pledge form. Upon receipt of your pledge card, an acknowledgement will be sent to you.

This is a great opportunity for each of us to share the gifts we have been given by God. Remember, “your gift will return to you in full and overflowing measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.” – Luke 6

Thank you for your prayers and support.
